The African Development Institute (ADI) of the African Development Bank is hosting a series of virtual seminars related to the effects of and responses to COVID-19 in Africa. The next seminar on “Building resilience in food systems and agricultural value chains: Agricultural policy responses to COVID-19 in Africa” will be held on May 18 and 19 (for different time zones). PIM is collaborating with the ADI on shaping up the program and will support the preparation of the follow-up briefs.

The first ADI seminar on “Enhancing resilience in African economies: Macro-economic policy responses to COVID-19 pandemic in Africa” held on April 29 was a great success with over 500 participants.
